6 Mistakes for starting blogging
Starting blog is popular amongst people over the world. Thousands of blogs have been created every day. Sometimes, one person created multi-blogs, and some ones make money from blogs as well. It is because of that. A few friends of mine wanted to have their own blogs as well, and then they asked me to help them create blog and instruct them how to post blog content, upload photos and so on. After creating blog, they firstly were active to post content more frequently but the life of their blogs were not alive for several years but just one year, they left their blog death.
The lessons I learn from what friends of mine stopped blogging. And these failed experience are good example for some ones who want to get started to blogging, they should think deeply about what you want to write about. And what is your passion. You have to know yourself that you write what you are passionate rather than write what you are not interesting in it because it takes times for you to study and gain main concepts of what is new.
I noticed that what my friends stopped blogging are good lesson learnt for me and all of you as well. The mistakes they did are:
#1: Not set specified goal: after creating blog, they did not determine the specific content that they should write about. It meant that they write everything. And then they felt boring and were stuck in middle of producing content. Therefore, before starting blogging, you should think deeply about the content that you would write about. What is important is that you should produce what you are passionate.
#2: Not commitment: in order to reach your goal and gain big achievement, it really needs the commitment. They were just active to post blog content at the beginning, and several months, their commitments were down gradually. Because their blog were not recognized by other bloggers and had not comments left. They felt alone because no one communicated and connected with them. Less commitment caused your goal to be unsuccessful. To do something you have to have commitment, if not, your goal set does not reach.
#3: Not produce their own content: as you know content is the king. When you just copies content from their blogs or sites, your blogs are not readable. The main things you have to do is to produce your own content. And content must be unique, good, and interesting. In order to produce quality content is not easy to do, though you have to try to do it. The more you write, the more you improve.
#4: Not make money: when they created blog they thought that their blog made money. By contrast, less money was made from their blog every month. They were disappointed with their efforts but they gained small buck per month. In fact, making money from blog is overnight. Therefore, when you create blog, you should think so much about how to make hug money from your blog. Making blogging money takes times.
#5 Do not know technical: creating blog does not need someone who has to know how to write code and something. What is important is that you just follow blog’s instruction. It is easy to blog. Friends of mine quitted blog because they said that they had no knowledge of IT (Information Technology). In fact, we do not need to be specialized in IT because all blog software has been done already and is free for download.
#6: Do not want to spend money for hosting and domain name: it is the fact that the beginners do not want to spend their money on domain name and hosting because they thought that they do not make money from blog for paying. And they don’t want to use money from their pocket. If you want to blog for long time, you should think about your own domain name and hosting rather than using free blog platform such as blogger or wordpress because we are not sure about our storing data on free server. But sometimes, they delete your blog because they thought that your content is opposite to their Term of Use.
